There are different faces to yoga and each has its own style. Hatha yoga is a class which focuses more on slow and gentle movements. Vinyasa flow which is one of my favorites is class where you are definitely moving from one pose to another starting with sun salutation. It is the most popular style of yoga in America. Kundalini yoga, the word kundalini refers to the energy of the root of the chakra, which surrounds your area around the lower spine. This style focuses more on your core and really are intense. Ashtanga yoga one of my other favorites is definitely physically demanding. Its best suited for someone who wants to push their body.
There are obviously many more styles of yoga and I bet all are great. The great thing about it is people can go with the practice that best suits them or can switch it up. Yoga is amazing because it can count as cardio, its not a competitive sport, no injuries, there are different varieties, and you can do it anywhere. It lowers your stress and boosts up your confidence. So many good reasons to why many people should do it. The world would be a better place in my eyes if everyone practiced it.
